What is The Write-Life Balance?
It all started when I challenged myself to write the first draft of my novel manuscript in 90 days.
The good news is, I finished! 🎉
The bad news is, I neglected everything else in my life—my health, life, and relationships—to get it done 😓
Because unless we’re lucky enough to be financially independent, most of us have bosses to please and bills to pay. Child and/or pet-rearing responsibilities. The nudge from our doctors to eat healthier and exercise more. Piles of laundry, begging to be washed, folded, and put away.
Thanks to having a spouse with cancer, losing a parent, and rage-quitting my dream-turned-nightmare job—all before my 30th birthday—I know what it’s like to burn out. So I got really curious in wondering if there really is a way to “have it all.” Whatever that’s supposed to mean 🤷🏻♀️
